| | With cracks like this, the family knew the house needed to be torn down and replaced.

Fedlene lives here. As a baby, her mother brought her to the clinic with a congenital condition that couldn't be repaired in Haiti.

After a couple of years of searching and waiting, we were able to work with The Medical Advocacy Team to find a hospital and host family to give free care. She went to the US for surgery and returned in Jan 2009. She has adjusted back into life her in Haiti with her family.

The earthquake was another scary time for her as her house cracked and the family had to sleep outside for months. The host family raised funds for her house to be rebuilt (in a stronger way) and she and her family will soon move in.

Here all most of the house is torn down and rubble removed.

The foundation is started.

Foundation finished.

The walls going up.

Walls up and roof on.

Finishing cement work and floor.

The only thing left is the doors and then they can move in. Thank you for helping this homeless family find a home and start living a normal life again. |
