@elosangel - Wouldn't you like to know!  That would give it away too easily.  I know what it is, but think it is crazy big.

@rmfox - I can't tell you because that would give it away.  Someone guessed ear wax.  Nope!  Go lower.

@EMueller79 -

@EMueller79 - YES!!  A KIDNEY STONE!!!  O U C H!!!  This guy has been having pain for 3 yrs!  It took 3 yrs to pass and I believe it.  He couldn't pee since Friday, came on a motocycle to clinic on Mon, and got in an accident.  I was doing the dressings from the accident and all he kept worrying about was not being able to pee well.  I gave an antibiotic and pain meds and told him to return the next AM.  He did and said that he was feeling better and could pee a bit better.  Thinking it was a UTI, I went on to the dressing changes.  After a while, he said and yeah, I forgot....I got this hard thing coming out of me.  WHAT!??!!  I think that I might have mentioned that earlier.  I ended up having to pull it out with hemastats because he couldn't finish passing it.  What pain!  OH MY!  He was not happy with me, but I didn't know how else to remove it.  I tried to break it up, but it is as hard as a rock!  This is the second one that I've had to remove.  Not fun!  Medical people, is there an easier way??

Wow, that is a huge stone!  And you had to manually remove it!  Ouch!  I dont' know any other way to remove it, but the way you did.  Hope he doesn't have any hematuria with it.  If he does, it will pass soon.  Can you imagine what that ureter went through!!!

Eddie says get out your ultrasound machine to break up the stone...oh, wait.  You don't have one.  You barely have electricity!  Silly Eddie.  Actually, his first response was "OUCH!"

I have used Xylocaine Jelly (2% Lidocaine jelly) routinely while inserting foley catheters in men.  I bet it would help with the pain of pulling out the stones.  Not sure if you would have this available...  I thought it was a kidney stone!
